What are tags?A tag is a term or keyword you apply to a stikkit to identify it as part of a logical group. Tags work similarly to category names or folders, but are much more flexible because you can set up your own tagging system (also known as a folksonomy) however it makes most sense to you. You can also apply more than one tag to a stikkit.
Tags can be single words or multi-word phrases, and can contain numerals and symbols.
To begin tagging, think about how you'd like to group stikkits together. Here are suggestions for tagging setups that have worked for us:
tag based on the roles in your life: home, work, volunteer, coach
tag based on your physical context: desk, car, phone
tag based on the people they involve or affect: Mario, Mimi, Luke
tag with priority levels: "P1 Urgent", "P2 Important", "P3 When I can"
tag by project name: "TPS report", fundraiser, "kitchen remodel"
How do I tag a stikkit?To tag a stikkit, anywhere in the body of the stikkit, type the hint "tag as" followed by a space and the name of the tag. If the tag contains more than one word, place the words inside quotation marks, and separate multiple tags with commas. If you prefer, you can use the hint "file in" or "label with." You can also use the shortcut character "@."
Examples:
tag as home, errand
file in "TPS report", fundraiser
@Jim, urgent
